This is our Baby Girl, Harper. She is a Red Merle Mini American Sheppard (mini Aussie) that was born deaf. It doesn't slow her down any and full of live! This video shows her grow up from about 3-4 weeks old all the way to just over a year old now. If this video gets 100 likes I'll upload a video of her doing her commands with sign language! Evinrude Etec 90hp Cruising (1720 Key West)

Just repowered my 1720 Key West Sportsman with this Etec. It is a used motor (2009) with 350 hours on it and runs great! Cruises at 3600 RPM doing 24-25 MPH, fuel burn is around 6 mpg at Cruise (5.5-6 GPH) and WOT is at 5250 RPM doing 36 MPH. Great little engine with a lot of torque!

Should be able to hit just above 40 with 90hp. Might be weight dependent of course.

Are you sure that’s the 4.2L engine? As far as I know, the 4.2 has the oil filler cap closer to the radiator. Meanwhile the 4.0 has it in the middle of the engine just like yours
Yes cause the 4.2l is carburetored while the4.0 is fuel injected
Do you turn off over drive when you tow?
I used tow haul mode, that’s all

Just put a Weber 32/36 Carburetor on my 90 YJ. Best upgrade, runs really good. Also put the PaceSetter Headers on as well.

Love that sound, but I had to LOL at "Irritation engine". I've had several of those and not all of them pumped water.
What year motor. I have a 95 . 90hp. Johnson but need to give throttle to start . Why ?
I’ve got an 09 4.6 3V that I tow a 7,100lb trailer with daily. Not long distances but around town. It’s no speed demon, but also, power comes in really well around 3,000 RPM so you don’t need to floor it to get going. No trailer attached, it rips! All with 192k Miles. Great truck.

Can’t speak to fuel consumption vs a 4 stroke 90. But i consistently get 5mpg in this boat, sometimes I see 4mpg when fully loaded with 4 people and gear

Not anymore. I wish I had it still…it was a great boat. Only went into bigger water when it was calm winds and flat…they don’t take a chop well. Especially with the stick steering…the driver takes a beating up fromt

Does that motor have self contained oil tank or is it a remote tank.?
It has an oil tank on the engine that holds 3/4 gallon I think and I can run for about 30-40 hours before needing to fill it

wait. this was 9 years ago and bro already has 98k miles? truck used in the video is probably either sitting in a junk yard or being used by some 17 year old high schooler and the truck has 460k miles or something ridiculous
Yea the truck we used by my family up until a few years ago. Spent the last year of its life towing a 7k lb camper across the country following farm work We traded it in with 265k or so on it a few years ago. Everything worked still! 4x4 and all the electrical. Hands down my favorite truck, thing was a tank!!

Put a fuel pressure regulator on that thing.
Gotta love Evinrude motors. We got a 1996 Johnson 60hp on our boat, these motors can certainly take a bullet or two.
This one is still running like a top to! Had a frame rust issue but other than that it’s been flawless. No hour meter but 1500+ is what we guess

Where is the best part of the peace river to take my Gheenoe?
Anywhere really! Biggest factor to watch is the water levels. During dry times you won’t be able to float across the shallow waters, rainy season you may not be able to control your boat around sharp turns
How is the chainsaw doing? Still use it?
Yes still using it! it works very well and my only complaint is the automatic oiler started to leak when in storage. Now i only add enough oil to cut that day, minor issue

I lost one injector on cylinder #2 around the 425hr mark, but other than that it’s been flawless. Total hours around 500. Need to change the water pump soon
@@kddcc I'd say so, I didnt see any water coming out of it when you were running it

Hello. i was looking into buying a boat like this. but i was just wonder about how many people would be able to fit on a boat like this?
Did you use a clear coat? Also did you take off the mid cowl or just leave everything attached? I have this motor but 1995 just had to replace the lower unit and the lower unit is white and the rest of the motor is black so I’m wanting to paint everything.
For a mismatch lower I’d recommend stripping down to metal and then Primer, paint, clear coat. My method really only works for original parts and pain. Since everything was the same color it matched and hid a lot of my imperfections or missed spots. Where as in your they will show a lot easier! Here for mine I wet sanded and did a few passes with the rattle can and that was it
I put one on my 89 YJ. It is still hard to start first thing in the morning. I did have to put the 3# fuel pressure regulator on it also to eliminate a flooding issue. Runs perfect other than hard to start first time of the day. Especially on cold days.
I have a Yamaha 2 stroke 150 done like 582 hours 16 years old and it still runs like brand new I got the hours wrong lol
